Dear Government Official,

The Utopian society is a society we may think we want; but really, do we? Many people will not accept not having guns. People in Texas and Minnesota for example love to hunt animals. Although there wouldn't be any hunting of animals if we did have a Utopian society. What would be the big deal you ask? Well, if we stop our rights as hunters the United States would be over flown with animals; their would be no room for human kind.

The Utopian society has few laws also, now look and the civilizations that have had few laws in the past and look how long they lasted. Not very long have they? People need laws to follow, to keep them from making to big of a mistake, to stop them from thinking wrong instead of right. We need laws to survive we need them to shape our lives. Yes, some of us do break these laws; and some who break them do not get punished for them. Apart of our minds is how far we can take things before they snap. Our minds work in mysterious ways, even the most intelligent people are stumped by the human mind.

The United States is everything Utopian society is; we have flaws yes, but their will always be someone who wants to break the rules. We already accept all religions; we try to remove all evil by our government systems (although they can sometimes be corrupt). We all agree if someone have been harmed in anyway they can harm back (self-defense). We also agree that everyone is free to believe in what they want to believe in.

In Summation, we already have the most utopia can be. You can never eliminate all evil, you just have to contain it. Although Utopia will probably never be achieved, (if it will, it will fall apart very quickly) their is nothing closer than what we have now. We may not have the best living conditions, and we may soon have an economic downfall worse than the depression; but we will achieve no greatness than we already have. We just have made history electing Obama as our new president. Soon we will be close to having no discriminations. Please think about this letter, I urge you to please not let us fall. Don't let us go back to where we started. We have gotten so far  and will go much further in time. I leave you with your thoughts.

                    Sincerely,

                                 Jessica Rinkel
